Writer Lens: Chris’ favorite actual genre to write about is, people under fucking pressure. When the pressure is on, that’s when the truth comes out, when people (characters) show who they really are, what they’re made of what they’re really out to achieve. Chris wants to scare you, makes you feel uneasy or unsure, and believes that far too many people when given the chance will try to solve their problems with disorder and violence. And loves to lead people into a place where they are so invested in the characters and story, they never see what’s coming next, even though it was all laid out.

THE PITCH: A character driven crime thriller about bad choices and the extent people will go to try and make it big. Was a Nicholl Fellowship Quarter Finalist in 2019 and made the Gray List in 2024.
