He also kept its author anonymous – which fueled its mystique and tantalized executives. Herzl’s unique approach ignited a Hollywood bidding war, sending Tinseltown into frenzy over the sensational scribe known only as ‘Colter Gest,’ with their ELLIS, D. project making marquee headlines all over the news – every studio in town wanted to produce this script. But after Herzl’s sudden & mysterious death (rumored as a Hollywood loan shark hit), buyers balked in the deluge of writers claiming ownership of the script. The movie was never made, the true author never revealed, & the only copy of the script was never found–
